I know that one of my posts may have upset someone. in that post I stated that I had along with my therapist been lurking for a bit before I became a member. Someone responded to that part of my post so I wanted to clarify and such... in case the person was upset..

My therapist and I have been reading here for quite some time before I became a member.

You know how sometimes you go to a store and you don't want to buy something you have never had before because you don't know if you will like it, have time for fixing that and such...

well I'm like that when it comes to being on line...I like to watch and read and see if that site is for me BEFORE i become a member of that site.

I have a couple friends in a real time group that told me and my therapist about this site so with them (my therapist and with my friends that were or are members here) I would read the boards and talk with them about how they relate to things that I am going through.

I am sorry if I upset someone by admitting I had been lurking before I became a member. And to answer that persons question (I would do it by pm but I can't remember who it was that asked) I have never been a member here before, just reading with my friends and therapist until decided to register.

This site is set up so people can look around before they decide to join--there is nothing wrong with it. Its a good thing to do--I did it too.

I think there have been a couple of discussions about reviewing the site before joining with thoughts both ways. I know I checked things out before I joined. When I finally did become a member I felt comfortable and at home here.

You should not feel the need to appologize for checking out this site before joining. "Lurking" may not have been the best word to use but to be cautious is not something you need to appologize for.

I'm glad you have become a part of our community.
