For a long time now I've struggled with a lack of fulfilment and boredom with everyday life. I feel even more emptiness in the routine which is my only solace at this time in my life and to make matters worse I am having the worste case of lack of motivation I've ever experienced. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Set goals with the image of yourself achieving them. In the short-term, changes in the routine also helps to motivate you.

Do you have ways in your life you can begin to or better engage yourself? I think the busier one is the less they feel depressed or empty.

Thank you for the suggestions and I appreciate the link but I don't feel it helps me because it's not that I'm feeling aftraid of the "unknown" experiences it's more a feeling of discouraged and depressed which keeps me in routine. Maybe I'm telling myself I'm not worthy of things I'd enjoy. I struggle with feelings of worthlessness a lot because I can't work and have always depended on others. I also fear I'll fail if I try to be successful in life
