Ultimately, it's our choice whether we see the world and others through a grimy grey window or a clean shiny window. And we choose our view.

Okay fuzzybear!
At first it sounded like we control our own destiny, but then you referred to it as after successful therapies. Yes, I could agree with you there.

Fuzzy, couldn't we choose how we view things even while in the process of recovery? I always thought that while we are working on things, our views change as we go. Eyes open, thoughts broaden and views change, even if just a little bit at a time right?

<font color="#000088">The only problem that I see with AFTER successful therapy, is that abuse or situations that some people have gone through in life, that may have only lasted even 10 minutes. Can take an entire lifetime of therapy to successfully get through it! I think even those individuals can choose to see the world, and other people through a shiny glass window, if they want to! We all have the capability of being able to choose whether we see the good in people or the world,or just focus on the bad, regardless of how far we've gone in our own therapy, for our own problems! We choose....
