I think most of you know this.. but tomorrow I will be having a heart catherization done at 10 AM. I am not sure how things work afterwards..so I dont know if I will be on the computer much for a few days. I will try to keep in touch with my friends here at PC. And if they are kind enough let you know how things are going if I cant post.
I want to tell you that I hope to make it out of this ok. I hope they do find what is causing my chest pains and can do something about it. I hope to be back here and livin it up with you guys again . But if something wrong should happen. I want you to know that even in my darkest days I knew I could come here and count on you all for your love and support. I have felt truely blessed with many friendships . I dont know what I would have done without you guys ( and sometimes I didnt know what to do with ya either lol ~ but thats beside the point lol ) I am not a deeply religious person.. but I do believe in a higher power ( My God ) and that there hasnt been a day that I havent kept you in my prayers and thoughts be you friend or foe. I think we all need to know that we are loved and cared about. I might sound a bit two faced with that comment. But for awhile now... I have been a very tense and stressed out human being .. one who makes mistakes and am not as patient as I can be . So if I have been short tempered somehow with any of you .. I am truely sorry for my actions. I guess this is a time of truth for me. I know its only a test. I guess I want to let you guys know how I feel about ya. Good luck tomorrow, it will be over before you know it and then you will be back. I hope whatever is causing your chest pains is minor and easily remedied. You will have a lot of people thinking about you tomorrow. Gypsy Eyes will probably get a headache from thinking but im sure she will nonetheless.

bethy honey you are going to be just fine. we all love you dearly here and wish you nothing but the best! you will probably have to lay there with a bag on your upper leg where they put in the catheter for about 4 hrs then you will be free to go home. after that you need to lay around the rest of the day and pick up nothing for 24 hrs and very light for the next couple of weeks. you will be sore for a couple of days after and maybe bruised for about a week. really in a couple of days you won't even know they did anything. tell your hubby to buzz me or something after it is over! I wanna know what is going on! luv you my dear friend.

I am sure you will do just fine. I had it done and it was a piece of cake. I think worrying about it before the procedure is the worse. Even the time they take to prep you is scary...but once you are in there...and the doc starts his procedure...it will be done before you know it. Enjoy the drugs they give you.....its legal..lol.... It's so sweet of you to think of us here at PC while your nerves are on edge for tomorrow. You are very much loved here sweet.... Good luck!!! Snowy

(((sweetsunshine))) People with physical heart problems often have outbursts of emotion... if you have had them here at PC, I'm sure you're forgiven
Good wishes on this. It is anxiety laden though, isn't it? Do your best. I hope you have great doctors and techs to put you at ease and take good care of you.

For Jerry, it went quite well both times. No biggie afterwards. No heavy exercise but he could do "normal" stuff. Be ready for some apparatus they put on your thigh to keep it from bleeding. He had that the first time but the second time, they put something in his artery so they could just close it... then open it again if he needed another proceedure. You might have to stay in the hospital for a few hours afterward to make sure your incision and heart are okay. It shouldn't take long.  They will give you something if you start to freak, but just breath deep, girlfriend. Stay calm.
