I guess this is the right forum since I don't know where it should go.

I get these weird episodes, usually at night. They have been happening way too often lately.

I call it "buzzy death". I like to name my weird things, I have no idea why.

I get all buzzy inside, almost like I am on narcotic pain killers, which is normally not a problem but I also get this horrible feeling in my head like I am dying or something. That triggers my anxiety which causes me to feel like I am having a heart attack. It is really hard to explain. All I can do is lay down and sleep it off. When I wake it feels like I shed a ton of dead skin or something, I feel lighter and my head feels clearer.

Maybe it is not MH or medication related, although the increase in the times it happens has coincided with an increase in geodon dosage. It could be related to my seizure disorder since it causes shaking, although I don't know if the shaking is completely internal or not.

It used to come on slowly but lately it hits me and I instantly drop. Last night I was fine and 10 seconds later was on the floor. I am going to call my pdoc and tell him I want to go back to my old dosage of geodon to see if that helps.

Does anyone else get something like this?

I haven't had anything like this, but glad you are talking to your doc about it. Is it something that happens only when you are up and about, but resolved when you lay down? If so, it makes me wonder if it is possibly a blood pressure issue.

Good chance that I am way, way off the mark, and I don't know anything about Geodon, but blood pressure is the first thing I thought of when reading this.

My blood pressure tends to be on the low end. I would say my average is 110/72. Maybe it drops too low. That is a good point. It mostly happens in the evening. I will mention that when my pdoc returns my message.

It doesn't resolve itself when I lay down but when I wake up 12 hours later it usually is. I looked up the symptoms of hypotension and when these hit I can barely think much less concentrate and I always have fatigue but these give me an overwhelming desire to sleep.

Thank you for you input, it was very useful.

I have all sorts of names for stuff. I guess it makes it easier to deal with.

pdoc cut geodon in half and wants to see me next week instead of end of august.

Oh, really glad to see this has been addressed so quickly by him. Even happier that he asked you back early to check things out in person. Let me know how things go next week and if the cause of "buzzy death" is discovered.

Hmmmm, I see buzzy death as an animated character now....wonder if I should be worried about that.
