I believe you "hit the nail on the head"! Even those of us who suffer one MI do not understand other MI's. I've tried to understand others conditions, and by doing so (here on PC), I've learned a lot. For instance, I had no idea what BPD was...thought it meant Bi-Polar Disorder, and it is completely different. (BP vs BPD). I learned that even though one member with me in a PM, whose slow response time to me seemed like I was being ignored. Turns out I did not understand they had Avoidant Personality Disorder and Social Anxiety Disorder. So it was not me that was not liked or ignored, it was the illness that made the convo from this member slow! Turned out they liked me a lot!

Education is key.

I think I'm very guilty really. I have an attention span of a goldfish and it frustrates the heck out of me. I mean it is really tough to deal with. Still, I jokingly call it things like Alzheimer's which of course is a no-no and I should be so ashamed of abusing that word. But still, sometimes we say forbidden words in times of frustration.
