I just see from many posts that there are peolpe who are being hurt from things that are said here on the forums,
some feel they don`t get responds......
some say they want to leave....
some apologize.....

and i see this confussion. this pain and i am sorry for everyone who is going through this, and can empathize those who are taking things to heart, especially here on the forums, becasue this forum is supposed to provide some kind of support, and sometimes it turns upside down. Taking things to HEART (here on PC)

i was also hurt by taking things to heart on other forums and i know how it feels... Taking things to HEART (here on PC)
but i got to the point when i don`t believe in being offended anymore.

not one is to blame from the way i feel. the way i feel is in MY hands, if i have the awarness.

but i don`t give myself as a "perfect example"
i just wanted to say that i think that when we come to post a topic, we should remember how much we want to reveal...posting personal things on the interenet has a bad side to it...since we can never know - people from all over the world will respond and not everyone is worth trusitng and things can aslo be missunderstood.

well-all this is very obvious. i know.

but i had my times of forgetting it...
so i wanted to remind. old members. NEW members...
hope we enjoy the good we have here, and learn from the bad.

hugs to everyone here on PC

Lady M, you have expressed one of the most important lessons I have learned in nearly six decades of living -- I am responsible for my feelings.

Having said that, I must add that I have a right to my feelings. I have a right to feel hurt or angry or sad or whatever when people say and do insensitive, mean, and ugly things.

So it's a kind of balancing act -- YOU cannot MAKE me feel a certain way by what you say and do, but I have a right to own my own feelings.

Once I do that, it starts to get a lot clearer about what actions I want to take in response.

yes that`s great. i think that this right for your feelings is really a gift form God-probably one of the most precious gifts he gave us in this life-becasue that`s how our soul develps..our personality, whatever you call it.
