Right now i feel so low... I also have a very low self image. So it makes it easy to fall into depression. I feel like a nobody and i think im going to slip up and cut again soon...

![]() I'm sorry that you're feeling so sad. I really am. But please, remember that this feeling will pass. You will get better. Slowly, maybe, but you will get better. You are important and you matter - and if anyone tells you this isn't true, they're wrong. Always remember that ![]() Do you see a therapist? Maybe that could help ![]() |

![]() I know what you mean about your parents, and even your therapist ![]() I know it's really hard, so don't worry if you can't do it immediately. Take your time, but I think it's the right thing to do if you want to stop the pain ![]() ![]() ![]() |

A crappy day . DaX11 I think you really should talk to your parents about seeing a therapist.

I know this is a little late and I bet the other replies are probably better than mine however I would like to take the time to write you a short message.
First I would like to say I am horribly sorry that you feel like you are a nobody and you probably feel like nothing can make you feel any better. I've been at various highs and lows but mostly lows and what I've learned is that you can't keep it all in or else it will burst out in anger, panic, anxiety, or large scale depression and you might end up doing various things that you don't want to do. So make sure you find people that you can trust and express your feelings to them. If you ever need someone and no one else is around you are more than welcome to message me if you need help. And lastly therapy might be a good option for you. It helped me in the past and is currently helping me get through each day. And as for finding a therapist you could always try finding one at your school if you are still in school. I noticed how you said your parents might not let you, however there are many schools that I know of that have access to therapy that you might be able to you to get help. I would check in at your school office if you are still in school. If you aren't in currently enrolled in a school than I believe it would be best to either go yourself and check out a center nearby if you can drive or go to your parents and have a talk with them about what is going on. Sorry if my message didn't help but I would be most pleased if you could take something out of it. Take care! MM20 |

DaX11.
I'm sorry you're feeling so low. But self -injury is only a temporary fix, it might make you feel better short term, but if you're like me, I always felt worse afterwards. You don't have to give in to the urge. Have you ever tried journalling. Sometimes, when I was still self-injuring and wanted to really bad, I'd just get a notebook and scribble out all my negative feelings and negative things I was telling myself. I didn't worry about spelling or grammer, the main thing was to get the feelings out. That often helped. I second the suggestion about trying to get a therapist. The recommendation to start with your school is a good one, but one note of warning. If you tell a school counsellor that you're self-injuring they'll most likely tell your parents. And I suspect that they don't know based on your comments about them. Try not to give in. It's much better to stop self-injury when you're young than waiting until 40 like I did. splitimage |
