So I got my busted monitor back today (YEA!) and I lugged it upstairs on my own, too impatient to wait for a friend to help me move it.

Got it hooked up and working (YEA!)

Within a half hour it is doing EXACTLY the same thing it did before, the thing I sent it to be fixed for. BOOOOOOO!

I'm on the edge of stress and aggravation anyway.

I shipped it to them in the original shipping box (one advantage to saving EVERYTHING) but they shipped it back to me in a crappy generic box with crappy padding. It made the trip with no problem but I'm wary of sending it back down there again in this box. (BOOOO!)

Plus although I'm sure they will take it for free, I'll have to pay to ship it down there again, and I can't really afford that right now. BOOOOO.

I'm pretty pissed off.

Do you have a back up monitor while yours is being worked on???

Hvae you adjusted anyting on the monitor to see if it will fix it..
Oh and do you keep a cell phone by your monitor?
Cause if you do, keep a cell phone sometimes when it goes off, or if you are talking on it It can interfear with a monitor Monitor in, monitor out.

Yep it's my "work" monitor, and I do have a spare that I'm using now. So I'm not cut off from email, internet etc... but it is hard to do any real work with this monitor because the screen is so small and the resolution and color aren't very good.

So it could be worse, but at it is it is a pretty big annoyance... and since I'm pretty anxious and triggerable lately it's not a good combo.

I'm dealing so far though...

Thanks Monitor in, monitor out.
