Okay Im in the 10th grade, last year I was involved in my schools theropy group called Valley group. I never told my parents cause I knew they wouldnt think there was any reason for me to be there. but the truth is Ive been seeing school counselors since the 6th grade. They tell me all I should get a theropist and give me these cards to give my parents but I never give them to my parents cause im afraid to tell them when theres something wrong. My parents are the kind of people who like to pick what to believe out of reality. But im finding it harder and harder to deal with my problems and with summer being here and not being able to go to group everyday like I did in school its driving me nuts. but I dont want to disappoint my parents by being a hassel with needing help. how do i tell them I need it

Hello (((UKILLEDME)))). I feel in all sincerity that the BEST SOLUTION to your problem is to talk to your school counselor and have the School Counselor call your parents, since the School Counselor may be more qualified to explain why you need professional help for your situation. Therefore your parents will feel the need hopefully to give the attention needed to your problems. Take care. Soidhonia
