Hey,
So I posted yesterday about my worsening depression. I just wanted to make a mental note of something else accompanying this. When my mood is neutral I have been seeing a lot of odd things and hearing snipits of voices. When this happens I get really paranoid and occasionally angry.
A lot of my depression comes from this i suppose. Sometimes it doesnt bother me because it doesn't really have a clear picture or meaning. Other times I feel like it's people doing things behind my back to harm me mentally and make me seem weak.
I used to swear i could hear someone else breathing over the phone when i would speak to my now ex girlfriend.
It makes my heart sink to hear these things.

Could you be bipolar? Are you diagnosed with it?

It would be good to talk to a psychologist about this because medications might help. Hearing those things must make you anxious. I hope you can get some treatment. It might help your depression and anger. Please talk to someone about this.

I think it's important to speak with your doctor about the symptoms you're having. I don't think I saw your post from a couple of days ago. Do you have a doctor?

You probably should speak to a mental health professional. They will help you with this.
Thanks for this!

I was diagnosed with it years ago but its not something I've ever considered until recently. I'm thinking about seeing someone about it. I dont want to take medicine.

Yeah I would like to speak with someone about it but I'm really trying to avoid medications. I was on so many different ones in the past and I hated it. Thanks

I have a family doctor but no psych doctor or therapist anymore. I don't have much free time to work things out but I really dont want to take medicine and i they always try to give it to me. After taking so many things its worse hell than what I'm living in right now. My recent post was about my increasing depression thats been going on for the past 3 or 4 months. Thanks

I understand...I don't think anyone wants to take medication. But if you're having symptoms of mental illness, your life can become pretty miserable...there are so many new meds nowadays...might be worth a try to at least discuss this with a psychiatrist.

There is hearing voices and hearing voices. I will occasionally hear my mother's voice run a commentary on things going on in my life but I don't feel that I am deluded or paranoid. I've spoken to my psychiatrist and he seems to think this 'inner voice' of being critical of myself is normal.

But seeing things, having a conversation with these voices, acting upon them in ways you would not normally do, having a battle or argument with them, etc I think are signs something more concerning is happening.

Regardless you should be discussing this with your psychiatrist or even family doctor if you don't have one.
