Looked like I was the first to read your post & didn't want to go off without saying welcome to PC.

I am not dealing with attachment issues, but sure there are some here who will be able to relate with you.

Welcome again,
Debbie

Since attachment disorder is caused by abuse/neglect, I think the best place would be the abuse forum. I'm sure you'll find someone there who understands the difficulty attachment problems cause.

I only have a minute (late for work again....) but the artwork on your website is astounding! Thank you so much for sharing it! I look forward to reading your blog, etc. when I'm not so...very...very...late! :-)

Hi emily4040 adult attachment issues..

Welcome to PC. I don't have any attachment issues, but I am certain as you post here you may find people with similar issues as yours. There are lots of supportive and kind people.

hey. i have attachment issues... i post all over really... psychotherapy... personality disorders... PTSD... dissociation...

psychoanalytic theory just thinks of it all as a muddled mess really anyhoo with all kinds of neurotic symptoms coming out of that (depression, anxiety, obsessions and compulsions).

so... my motto is... post wherever you find stuff you can relate to.

welcome to PC.

The psychotherapy forum is a good place to read about attachment issues!
