I checked into a hotel this afternoon. I'm taking my kids on a local mini-vacation. This is a bit of a higher class than I am used to--nice room, mirrored closet, a high bed that feels like a cloud! Plus, web TV, wi-fi, hi-speed internet, modem, fitness center, business center, Nintendo, sliding glass patio door leading to the pool outside (pool closed for maintenance, tho). I'm impressed! Oh, yes, and a sun lamp in the bathroom--I love those! And *real GLASS* glasses for drinking, plus a cute little 8-ounce bottle of water, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, and more. Did I say that I was impressed and this is not my usual type of hotel? Lord help me I got it pretty cheap online. All the other websites I checked listed the same exact place at costs of around $66, but I found one site that had it for only $48. There will be no denying the kids Nintendo, or I'll have to deal with the wrath of them. That will cost an additional $7 (for ONE HOUR of play!). But Lord help me on saying no to the internet! I left my laptop at home since I'm having internet problems, but this place has webTV! I can still go online and chat with all of you, and surf, and do email, all for only $10 until noon tomorrow. I will try to deny myself the internet, but it may call to me. After the kids are asleep, what will I do?! I could order a movie, or maybe room service. This will be so tempting! Pray for me, please, to have the willpower to just say NO to internet! LOL But, since it is a special time in a special motel room, why shouldn't I, right? I'll see how the night goes. I'm also trying to resist getting pizza for dinner with my kids tonight. Not just any pizza, though--<font color="red"Lou Malnatti's</font>! I just might do that. I haven't had this pizza in sooooo long, it will be worth it. I can see now that this is going to be an expen$ive weekend. We're also celebrating my kid's birthday which will add to things. I am so hungry for pizza right now. Maybe I'll see some of you online tonight. Or maybe I'll resist! In any case, you can always find me on AIM as inknblot. I'm always available there. (((Waving))) Cya! Lord help me

luv,
