I just wanted to let you all know that I will be away from my computer, so that you don't worry about me. I'm going to Norway! I've been writing to my relatives there for about 4 years, and now I finally get to meet them. Yea! So, I don't know if I will be able to check in here at all, but I'll be back in a couple of weeks.
 And we found out yesterday that my husband has gotten a new job. It's a promotion, so that's a good thing, but we have to move to the other side of the state. He starts there before I'll be back from Norway. You're gonna be one busy girl!!
 Can't say as I envy you, including flying over the Atlantic! YIKES! The only time I considered flying was to go see my daughter up north. I don't have that problem anymore.  Have you thought of meeting up with ... gosh ... I can't remember her exact SN... OH!! Heidu! That's if you're still in touch with her. You better take lots of pics, though! I thought about meeting Heidu, but haven't heard from her in a long time and I don't know her address or anything. But, she is not particularly close to where I will be, and my cousins have me well scheduled just right around their corner of the country. I have another friend who lives in Norway too, and she happens to be on vacation in the U.S. right now.
 I've flown before. I lived in Spain for two years. I don't really mind the flying, but I'm worried about what I am going to do with my hands if they won't let me knit (I have other things though), and also that it's such a long time to be sitting and they probably wouldn't like it if I tried to use my jumprope or do yoga, and going running is out of the question.   <font color=orange>"Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm. - Winston Churchill "</font color=orange>

Maybe you could use plastic or baleen needles? Have you knit for long? I never could knit and wanted to a lot. I had tried and just had so many dropped stitches I couldn't handle it. I just started after therapy one day about 3 weeks ago and WOW I can knit!

Wendy, have a wonderful time. What a great trip, to see a new place and meet family for the first time. I'm excited, and I'm not even the one going!
I know what you mean about not being able to knit...I always crocheted on planes. I took a book the last time I flew, but it's not the same.
