Well, I've had a pretty good day! I got to the gym and managed to keep my heart rate mostly within reason and with minimal problems. That took a lot of effort and focus to do tho! After there, I cleaned the guinea pig cage and made her so wildly happy to have clean shavings and fresh food (and hay--her FAVE!). I then went to the unemployment office for job search stuff, sent several faxes and emails. That was half done before I even got there, because I did the searching online last night and saved my prospects. The newspapers post classifieds online a day ahead before they are out in print. I left, had lunch, made several phone calls to attempt to contact local resources for housing, food pantry and medical care. The medical contacts kept referring me to another number or place, but I was given another by a great local organization tonight to try in the morning. They are also going to try to advocate for me to try and get back in to the local homeless shelter for services. I had already talked to them, but they said they wouldn't help me. One other thing with medical, I will be applying for a special insurance called Access to Care. I called today to set up an appointment for that, too. I also called a nearby junior college to register for a special informational program on their courses, financial aid, etc. Hmmm, I know theres more that I've done today! Well, you get the idea that I've at least been somewhat busy, and this is prob the best day for it that I've had in a while. Productive Day! Medical leads, 2!

Wish I could take a bubble bath, but hard to do in my car! I'm homeless now, remember? Productive Day! Medical leads, 2! I'll have to do that another time. I couldn't relax tonight anyway--just got an email--I have a job interview in the morning to prepare for! All my interview clothes are in storage so I have to go there first thing so I have something nice to wear.

Inky, I just wanted to say that you are doing an awsome job not just coping with your situation but being very proactive! You should be proud of yourself for continuing to take those steps. Glad piggy has fresh shavings. Good luck with the interview. You'll do great.
