It is it, we are continuing the fight for our foster daughter. I don't know how but I know we must. She is already being thrown away and trashed into a corner. Just because she was abused, neglected, is 7 and a foster child she has rights too.

((((((((((((((((((((((((( wisewoman ))))))))))))))))))))))))))

I have a question for you.....is there a guardian ad litem assigned to your foster daughter? If so, is this person a court appointed attorney or one from CASA? If she doesn't have a guardian ad litem I question why not?

Good wishes on this.

FL has a guardian ad litem program also. It's one of the reasons Florida received an "F" grade on how it represents the child. That's because in our FL program, the children rate the foster parents, social workers and the system in general, and of course, some are too young to relate and some, like teens, use it to rebel against anyone who gives them rules.

Does your state's program also interview the child and allow for what they want? I would go by that personally. If the child wants to stay ok then fight, if not, then accept it and move on, regardless of your "rights" and feelings say. Post a question? Okay, do you all know that hubby and I have decided to fight f

That's the thing. we don't know what she has been told and we can't speak with her. It is hard. Of course I would respect her if she didn't want to be with us. Wish I could just speak with her.

Post a question? Okay, do you all know that hubby and I have decided to fight fHi Wise <<<<,,, Write and call (( everything has to be backed in writing )). State overseerers as to foster care program is per county and caseworkers have a heavy load. When you learn Name and address with box number ,,,,Write out details including case numbers so they can more readilly access case. Then give a written deposition as you would be able to testify if under oath in any proceeding that might hence forth be determined . Keep copies for your self in case you have to refer back . Make it as detailed as you know and not what some one has told you. Most of the time the system has time constraints in so far as answering inqueries as a matter of fact in all things ,,not just foster care .So GOOD LUCK and be a diligent ccollector of records before you write your letters .. For the simple fact these are already recorded in the record for this childs past ,present and future , ( Just a few suggestions ) Post a question? Okay, do you all know that hubby and I have decided to fight f

thanks wmd, good point. Ans sky we have atttorney and GAL. My poor attorney has a list 2 miles long for her to get through. Geez I do want that child back. Fyi, looking for a chuckle or two. You may know that I have been quite ill. I forgot to check on immodium today, plumb out, and my inhaler was empty for several hours before I figured that out. So I can breath, I just use the nebulizer and my albuterol, shake shake. Boy, maybe I could dance well after a dose. Xopenex inhaler was great, need a refill. I like to breathe. A purpose, I have wanted a purpose. A young male friend going through a rotten divorce with 3 kids asked me to go to court with him tomorrow and help with right forms et. I am glad he asked. I love those children.
