If you read my post about my 2nd interview tomorrow in the "I got the job" thread by SunshineGold, I just got another reply from this doctor. It was short and said, "You are tenacious and I hope that that will pay off for both of us!" Hmmm, I wonder if he is considering paying me after I offered to volunteer my help and work for free? LOL This really seems weird! Maybe I will still get to work for free?! Gee, I don't know which I want now. Interview Interview

If I recall, limited benefits, depending on how much the person is paid per hour. This person is a chiropractor--I know that some chiropractors give employees free care & adjustments, but I don't know if he does that or not. Parking is already free in the parking lot. Interview It doesn't matter if I do get the job or not--paid or free work. I think that mostly I am looking for the education of being there and learning more about chiropractic things.

Congratulations Interview

I hope you learn the things you want to with your new job or training. If you do get paid, that would be a plus, if you don't, then the training and work would look good on a future application if you go to work somewhere else.

Best of luck to you Interview Chris

I agree with Kris... if payment might be involved, THAT'S GREAT (and yes, you do want to get paid if that is an option Interview.

But if he wasn't speaking of payment, remember that there are many types of other benefits in this world... like Kris said, experience and something to put on your resume, giving you something productive to make use of your time, maybe even fundamentally helping you feel even better about yourself while he benefits from a competent employee.

Any way you look, good news inkblot. Congrats!
