I asked in chat tonight if it was a good idea to text message with my old neighbor--the guy who felt me up and basically harrassed me for a while at my apartment. He sent me text messages to my cell phone last night, and says he feels bad for me being homeless. Well, guess who just sent me another text message a few minutes ago? Yep, him. I don't know if I should answer it or not. I know I probably shouldn't, because if he wants to get together or something, it could be bad again. I hate to upset anyone. I know he's got psych probs as well, like the rest of us. He just messaged me saying that he went in to Chicago for work today. I wonder if he is thinking about trying to meet up with me? I haven't told him what area I am staying in, but I wouldn't be surprised if he drove through this area and saw me. I could have been sitting right on his route to Chicago if it were true.

I don't want to upset you, Hun, but why would you want to be a victim again?? Hey, I know some people that have mental problems that I steer clear of!! YOU are your main concideration! Not him!

Ditto what SeptemberMorn said.
He caused you a lot of worry and grief in the past. Answering his message in any way may just give him hope to start bothering you again. Ignore him... he's got to leave you alone. ------------------------------------ --http://www.idexter.com

If I was you, when I saw a message coming from him I wouldn't even read it! erase it .... you don't need him and don't need to even know what he has to say. Wipe it off and keep on going!

Sorry, but it still isn't in your best interest. Why do you think because he is persistent in his methods of malicious intent, that he might be a better person than he was before?
People just don't change like that. He is still preying upon you. Can't you block his number? Inform him NOT to text msg you or contact you in any way. If he does so again, notify the phone co. meditation is a true way to connect to the Source

If you DO inform him to stop... make sure you do NOT do it apologetically... don't give him any reason to think that there is hope because you answered his message. Best yet may be to get someone else to do it for you on your behalf. I'm worried that just seeing your number on his phone with a message will spark him to keep trying. Blocking his number is an excellent idea if you can do so. ------------------------------------ --http://www.idexter.com

I agreee with what everyone eleas is saying.. and if that does not work.. Call the cops.. Honey you can not go on like this.. If he has cased you grief in the past He will not stop this time either..
Stay away from him.. Leave him be.. Yes he may have mental problems, but he is only trying to get to you again.. You are our top concern here not him.. (((((((((((((((( hugs )))))))))))))))))))))) take time to heal thyself before trying to help others, or you will never get better ![]()

"You are our top concern here not him.. "
And you should be your main concern too. It is honorable to be considerate of others feelings but not at the expense of your own and especially of your own wellbeing. He has problems and you are not the solution to his problems... being nice to him won't help him, only when he realizes he has a problem and gets help will he be on a better path. ------------------------------------ --http://www.idexter.com
