Hi everybody,

last week i had my first appt. with a new therapist and she suggested that we work with a book called "mind over mood"...has anyone ever read it?

I have not, but you can go to amazon.com and read other reader reviews of it (if there are any).

I've used sections of it, and think it's really good. Parts of it were used in the addictions treatment program I was in, and it was also used in the psych hospital I was in this year. It's all cognitive behavioural therapy. I found a lot of the tools, especially the thought records it uses, especially helpful in challenging my negative distorted thinking.

The title sounds promising, it seems like that's the whole idea behind some behavioral therapies, but you never know. Thanks for the link!
