Well I've done it again, made reference to a book and after being asked to give more info, forgot the thread it was in!

SO for whomever wanted this:

Your Body Believes Every Word You Say

(The Language of the Body/Mind Connection)

With a section on Dreams and Drawings by Bernie S. Siegel, M.D.

By Barbara Hoberman Levine

C 2000 Words Work Press (www.wordsworkpress.com)
Fairfield, Ct

I bought it at my local Barnes and Noble.

The chapter titles are:

How I came to write this The fundamentals of healing
How we think and talk about disease
Responsibility and creative intelligence Corebeliefs and seedthoughts
Emotion and your body's language Your body as emotional barometer
Cliches and body talk Perceptions about health and disease
Mental projection and expectations The operating manual
Keys to the good health kingdom Healing techniques
Healing through dreamwork and artwork
Creating a new context: healing from within
Keys to my survival

There are many subtitles but it's a very easy read. PLUS you do NOT have to read the book from front to back. It's a good idea, of course to eventually do so, but to get into the book, pick an area and read that chapter... and it will give you plenty to think about... and maybe do.

Dr. Bernie Siegel is the cancer specialist who has encouraged the use of the mind to visualize healing.

Sounds great, Sky!! I'm gonna have to go looking for this book!

"How we think and talk about disease
Responsibility and creative intelligence
Corebeliefs and seedthoughts"

These three things really caught my eye! I still have problems with my own core beliefs and seed thoughts. They've proven difficult for me to get into perspective. I think I just happened to be in the right place at the right time! Thanks!! (even if it wasn't me that asked for it. Book reference )

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
