It's already that time of year again. Another dreaded birthday, which I always end up spending alone. I'm sure I will tonight. I think they ought to ban birthdays, right along with Valentine's Day. My teenage years are officially over as of today, which is kind of a sad thought, the end of an era.
I don't feel like singing to myself, but what the hell, I'm going to anyway!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe it will cheer me up, along I can't help but sing the chorus line in my head, "Unhappy birthday to me..........."

I think for many birthdays can be really hard. But your 20 today, thats cool. Its 19yrs behind you which you have learned many things and gained knowledge which will help you in the many years ahead.

Yeah, mine was recent too. Bummer I actually got 3 cards... and a person drove me to Disney where, thanks to the med I'm reacting to, I had a melt down with a big noisy rude group there... embarrassing HER.

Biggie dealie. Sorry you are alone. So tomorrow, go buy a cake and eat it all and get sick and remember THEN that you are an adult, and you make your own decisions. (give some to the panther...)

Happy Birthday--I understand what you mean about being lonely; but God will send the right person your way when the timing is right. Sometimes that's what keeps me hopeful anyway.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. My mother bought me a cake and a really sweet card, (and some ink for my printer that I desperately needed!) so it wasn't that bad. I appreciate you guys thinking of me, and it helped to make this birthday a little brighter. Hugs to you all.
