I have decided to give up smoking ..... dont enjoy it so I dont know why I bother!!!!!
I have had a bit of a cough just lately and I'm sick of spending money I dont have on tobacco .... Tony gave up with no problem last year ... so I intend to do the same and I'm not going to give it a second thought ..... disgusting habit .... my son is ALWAYS getting on at me so I told him he has to be patient if I get a little cranky ..... .....Here we go ...... none in the house and I'm not going out either ...... jinny you go girl! I'm proud of you for doing this. It's not an easy thing, but heck....nothing that's good for us is eh?

smoking was huge contributing factor in death of both parents so we applaud any attempts to give up such a nasty addiction!

All right jinnyann!!!!
I know you can do it!! I use the nicorrette gum during the day and I am able to make it 9-13 hours without a smoke. It helps, but it is expensive.

It is hard and harder before it gets easier. One thing you may want to do, carry some hard candies and gum. I know many this has saved from lighting up. There is something about the physical need and oral fixation and those satisfy that!!!

Thankyou so much everyone.....not one single craving all day so far....yay...... then I have been asleep a lot, catching up after nights of broken sleep and a few parties lol......the big test will be when i go out to my friends house..they both smoke.....but I am determined......
