You rang? Hey I'm still reeling from this medicine... and won't stop taking it till next week or so... and how long it will be in system after that I don't know...

on top of that I have extra doctors appointments... tooth broke again from jaw splint etc etc etc

When I can I usually post in PTSD forum... as the stress is what usually gets me and most ppl don't read there I think (keeps me out of most trouble?)

No problem for water for me. And looks like the east coast of FL (south) is only getting 50 mph winds... feeder bands of terrible storms though lightning and tornadoes.<font color=purple>

The west coast of FL is not built for hurricanes. They never took the increased building codes because they never get hit by big storms. HA! Even though Charley is only a category 4, there is going to be little left of the coastal/beach homes, I fear.

At least this will fill Lake Okeechobee, which supplies alot of our ground water, and we have been in drought conditions.

PLUS by it going in south of Tampa, looks like Disney World won't be hit full force (it isn't built for big wind either!) And the worst side of a hurricane is the NE quadrant, so central FL will get the NW quadrant.

I'm between Ft Lauderdale and Miami... if it doesn't keep going NE, but more E, THEN I'll get more than I want. No, wait, I have already had more weather than the dog and I want!

Sky,

I've been worried about you with this weather situation. I know that you and the dog don't like storms. {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}

Looks like we will be okay for this one... tough luck for the west coast of FL though... now we look at the systems in the Atlantic basin: here come Danielle and Eric? Oh well. I'm leaving the shutters closed. But I'm about out of toilet paper!!!!!! Oh how I hate going to the store.

Use paper towels or crumpled up Sears and Roebuck catalog pages! LOLOL

Oh, jeeez... I'm bad, aren't I? Don't they have stores on the East Coast that deliver? ...or get a friend to get you some? SkyBdark

No kidding, though. Please stay safe! {{{{{{{{{{{{{Sky}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Oh that isn't the problem... it's me. No, no stores that deliver any more. However, I did get out and try to shop... one of those well, if... and then if this and that and finally got into the store and went through the motions. It was a good thing I did, the stock was quite low on most all toiletries and basics. I figured if the next storm comes closer and there's the usual last minute run, with the big trucks of supplies going over to Punta Gorda and Ft Myers and across the middle of the state instead... they won't be stocking our shelves very well. (AND now they say we might get Earl.) Need it to go away, if ya know what I mean.

So now I'm in panic mode. AND my T was planning on going out of State this next Thursday and they say we might have another hurricane (Earl) by then... so not only are my thinkings messed up, I can't figure out what HE is going to do. Not my job, I know, but... ok guess this all belongs in the PTSD forum.

Tks for caring.

Too bad you had to go out yourself, but <font color=blue>con</font color=blue><font color=purple>gratula</font color=purple><font color=green>tions</font color=green> to you, anyway! SkyBdark

What's that country song about "Earl has to die!" Maybe if we all sing it, it will blow past you without touching you. SkyBdark I'll be praying for you. SkyBdark

I'll sing that song. Ft. Myers and southern Florida has had enough. My sis is still a bit shell-shocked, and she is okay.

Take care and sending dry wishes to you, Sky.

Being the song is so controversial, all I'm posting is the necessary verse. SkyBdark

they
Worked out a plan
And it didn't take 'em long to decide
That Earl had to die

Goodbye Earl
Those black-eyed peas
They tasted all right to me Earl
You're feelin' weak
Why don't you lay down
And sleep Earl
Ain't it dark
Wrapped up in that tarp Earl
