This is a link to a Colorado story about a boy being hurt, the parents giving him proper first aid, and some well meaning neighbor calling paramedics to check on the boy. It ends up with the swat team taking the boy to the hospital, where the doctors say the parents were doing proper first aid. It hasn't ended though, they are now trying to take the child away from his parents, permanently.

Not very good conflict resolution, imo.

I don't think it is quite so cut and dried if you get someone trying to give a more complete, unbiased view of the proceedings:

I'm sorry, but I want people beating down doors to take a look at injured children if they have to. Especially if the father is mouthing off and acting like he's hiding something. If there's nothing wrong, let me see!
