I went to mail something a bit ago . Came out on this one road and was behind a fleet truck stopped at a light. There was a semi that wanted to turn our way. So this fleet truck started backing up.. but didnt see me. Lil old me is ok ... but my lil HHR got a boo boo. Its gonna need a new bumper and grill I reckon. I havent been in an accident since 1991 when I was trying to go to another town to get my mom her medicine before the store closed and a truck in front of me lol.. ( Ohhh man I am noticing a trend with trucks now lol ) didnt have any tail lights but stopped to turn. I got cited for failure to stop within an assured distance.. CRIMINY!!! Ok.. well now I gotta go tell Hubby about this... LOL... I had to tell you guys first ya know!! LOL

I'm glad you're ok too! Rut Roh bumpers are expensive, plus they have to pull to make sure the undersupport isn't smushed too ( technical term
 ) Are you kidding me that the "stay back xxx feet" applies at stop signs? I don't think so: the guy backed into you! HE'S the one who didn't allow proper spacing/distance for the other truck to turn. Call your insurance company and have them fight this for you, if you can.

Thanks everyone... Got a headache now... I had a bad one when I woke up today too but it got better.. So I dont know if this is from the weather or the accident. The car didnt get jolted much. Just not sure. TTYL TC and thanks for the well wishes and for caring.

Glad you're ok, and sorry about the car. Bumpers are darned expensive to fix too. Hope your insurance rates don't go up since this clearly wasn't your fault.

Thanks everyone.. Gotta go get one estimate today . Then tomorrow I will get the other at the dealership I bought the car from. Was taking it in anyways to get oil changed. Its always something . Just sux
