I wish you the best of luck tomorrow. What an awsome experience. In college, my favorite courses was the year of business law I had. Briefing the cases was really interesting & gave me a lot if insight into how the laws work......looking at the laws from both sides as the lawyers have to do is an awsome experience.

I do understand how much thought & ability to hold facts in the mind in order to point them out & argue your case is tough when your dealing with anxiety issues of your own, but if you can, put all else out of your mind & focus on the cases you are being a lawyer for.

That might be good therapy in a way because you can't allow your mind to wander off of what you have to concentrate on.

Best wishes,
Debbie

Good luck. i'm sure once you get started, you'll be so focused on your case that you'll really get into it. i never did mock trials in school, but I was on the debating team and I'd get really nervous before a match but as soon as I started talking I'd be fine.

Knock em dead.

You go anyway and do the best you can. Nothing good can come from avoiding the slings and arrows, trials and tribulations of outrageous fortune.

I feel for you though; I had to give a talk to the entire school when I was in high school, one period at a time (all the history classes that day) and we were in pairs and my partner did the call-out sick trick so I was "along". We're not alone though, other people are counting on us, the teach, the other students, everyone needs your experience, even your fear and difficulties to add to their sense of what it is like. Do you think a real lawyer isn't scared the first case he tries in court? You can't get practice unless you practice. And practicing being sick just gives you practice being sick! What do you want for yourself? Experience communicating with others or being an A-1 responsibility avoider?
