I want to thank everyone who helped me last year to decide to continue the dream on. I tryed really hard. Put my heart into it......The new building was great...But ppl just do not have the money here to shop. So tomorrow morning in my paper it starts , The end of the dream, The finally sale. I will go out with a smile on my face. Thank each customer...but the dream is over.........Ty to (((Kathy and DEc and Nowhertorun,)))) who have listened to me about this, SO here goes folks ...............LAst years post........
The Dream The dream has been mine since I can remember. Was my Parents and Grandparents dream too. I worked really hard to get it, did it after they died. to make them complete.Put their picture high on a shelf. So I could see if they were happy and proud. Really stupid of me, like they knew what I was doing. The store had a good run, was full of people. One whole wall of pictures of customers I have. Put my heart and soul into it, my daughter did too. The pictures will have to come down, packed my Parents picture away. My friends , my customers, the people who became a part of our lives, have been coming to say good-bye. Was so lucky to have my dream, to have my daughter help make it what it was............was a blessing....... helpless, scared, lost, cry, not sure what I will do.... So many memories fill that store....My kids and I put it together................When the sign comes down...... And I lock the door for the last time......just another postum.. TY everyone............Remember there are always dreams Oh heck I am sad as heck........... My mom passed on the 4 of feb, kinda of ironic this goes down the same time |

(((( muffy )))) this is not a broken dream ... you made the dream come true.... grampa and gramma, mom and dad know you... what a great girl they see... life has more for you....
my heart is with you now... i will be here for you each day, each moment... keep your eyes up, your smile on.... survivors adapt.... you've beaten challenges before...

Muffy, I am sorry you are losing your store. I don't think there is much I can say to make your loss any less...I hope you take this the right way--I am glad you pursued and fulfilled your dream--in some ways it is coming to an end--what will your next dream be? Of course you need time to mourn the loss of this one, but don't give up on your next dream--it is just around the corner--waiting for you.

How hard you and your family worked to go for the dream. You succeeded my friend...you had your store. You did the best you could to keep it going. I'm sure your mom and dad and grands are very very proud of you for what you accomplished. Sometimes things are beyond our control and we have to change in order to survive. I'm so sorry you are having to close your place that means so very much to you. Sending you strength and love my friend.... sabby |

Muffy I'm sorry. Anyway you can switch to an Internet store, keep it alive a bit longer or gain more monies, etc. so you can try locally again later?

Today I go to the account. I would laugh , but I am not laughing.
Have been working on the numbers for weeks hoping I had made a mistake. I will know at 12;30 hows that. AM sorta sick to my stomach over it I act like its no biggy, But to me it is.......let you know after 12;30 thank you everyone for standing by me |

The money is not related to the dream. The dream is/was a good dream and can still provide more than money (and maybe later, money :-) Do not judge you or the dream by the secular money.

truth:
It was never the numbers. It was me trying to work myself to death I worked about 56 hours a week. every week. The numbers were the books. The account who is well as good as a shrink. Looked at me over his glasses and just said what are you doing? I really could not answer him.....so as I sat there alone......papers all over....I knew as I knew before it was done......It was never about the money....except that the numbers showed what the store did....not me....i know this does not make a whole lot of sense....unless you know me................. About 10 minutes before it was all done....I kinda felt free........Which means I am now free to move on with my life...... As i said unless you know me really well this does not make alot of sense.......Do not feel sad.......as this has settled alot... thank you for all your replys I care about all of you
