storms

we are having some pretty bad storms here this morning. they are moving at 60mph! wow! 54,000 homes so far without power! trees down on houses and cars. good thoughts for us here in Ga please.

wow the winds got really bad for about 2 minutes! that thing moved thru so fast it wasn't funny! whew! all is well at my house!n thanks muffy!

Glad you didn't blow away....that is really scarry....I can sure say that the winds with the storms here are unbelievable. The winds have broken 3 of my metal flag pole holders. The night we were having all the tornadoes, I had a leak in a place where water shouldn't even be....its really scarry.

Hope you are tyed down real good....we don't want to loose you to the land of OZ.

were not getting bad winds, just alot of snow, 3 inches since 7:30 this morning, it looks pretty but soooooooo dangerous, lines and trees are bending

Ugggg....it's heading my way and I'm not impressed. Heavy wet snow six inches or more expected...hope our power holds out between the snow and the winds.

Glad you are ok bebop.....sounds like a freight train doesn't it when the winds come in like that?

eskie the storm blew thru really fast but winds have picked up again. fortunately I don't have any dead trees near the house!

it wasn't too bad this morning but now the winds are really kicking. it blew the top off our trash can outside and 2 bags of trash onto the ground lol.

Glad you're holding up ok bebop - storms are scary. I think we're supposed to get more snow tonight up here.

I have a love hate relationship with storms. Sometimes I like them (as long as they cause no harm) and sometimes I hate them (when they threaten lives). But tornadoes scare the begeezuz out of me!! I like thunderstorms as long as they arent too close.

We started getting a bit of snow....with it just lightly sticking....I was planning on going to bible class tonight....only decided that I didnt want to drive the 10 miles of winding road to get there.....even with my 4x4 truck....with the way things have been going in my life lately...why take any chances.....sure God will understand since he's the one that put the snow here in the first place....lol.

I like the soft snow much better than the strong winds that break everything.....

Hope you are doing better today....nice soft gentle rain is much better.

parts of the state was hit really hard in just a few short minutes. major damage done but thankfully we only got the rain, wind and some lightening.
