Everyone remember me talking about my rotten very back molar I had to have pulled and how traumatic it was?

Well, now that I had the Ding Dang Tooth out... I am cutting a wisdom tooth right behind where it was! At 25?!!?!

Great. My luck it will grow in crooked and I will have to have it surgically extracted, which scares the triple bejesus out of me. I HATE the thought of being put under. I HATE dental needles. I HATE the sound the tooth makes when it gets pulled out. And, I HATE the dentist to begin with.

I am optimistic where the molar beside it was taken out, perhaps it will grow in ok because it has room. It doesn't hurt at all except when I press on the edge thats coming through the gumline so I may be ok.

Just when I thought I got rid of my <insert some expletives here> tooth problems. Now I get wisdom teeth, at 25?

Who gets wisdom teeth that old?

My wisdom teeth didn't start "growing out" until I was in my early 40's, then I had to have them removed, and only the bottom ones so far.

Think happy thoughts. My son has all 4 of his. He had room plus one of his baby teeth did not have an adult one behind it so he had extra room.

Stay positive! Mine came through when I was a teenager I think but then i too had to have them all pulled in my early 20s. It was the 1st dental work I had ever had done, and I was more terrifed of the needles than of the actual extractions lol. Hopefully with the molar gone there will be plenty of room for it to come through.

Thank your lucky stars you aren't in excrutiating pain, Hon! Mine didn't start to come through until after I had my second child. After X-rays, the dentist decided they all had to come out, one at a time. That meant getting shots four times! You know what, though? I think fear of the shots is what makes them so bad. Once they poke you the first time, you don't feel them anymore.

Maybe you need to come here to get your teeth taken care of. I have a dentist with whom I'm totally IN LOVE with! He's extremely careful, caring and doesn't let anything hurt me at all! I've even gotten to know what his tummy is saying to me! Now thats just great timing... It gurgles and rumbles on gently, soothing me while the dentist is working in my mouth. No more panic attacks at just the thought of having my teeth worked on. Now thats just great timing...

They ARE out there, gentle, caring dentists! Now thats just great timing...

Sept I dont know if i told you this or you read me talking about it, but when I had my molar pulled, I said ow at the needles when the stuff was going in because it made my muscles cramp up horribly.. and the damn dentist had the nerve to say "how are you ever going to have a baby if this hurts you?"

OMG RUDE!

Now thats just great timing...

Yep I intend to.
There is another much gentler dentist in town here and I plan to go to him instead, even though I think he is a tiny bit more expensive. My dental is mostly covered for emergency services (which getting this checked out and possibly taken out would be) and for exams anyways so its still not bad.

The jerk dentist is VERY well known around my hometown for being a jerk in general. He is very rough and everyone told me afterwards that he was rough at some point with them too.. my uncle actually told him off once for being rough with my little sister when she was a kid.

Apparently he is a jerk in general too within the community- very arrogant and cocky.

I hope he gets kidney stones the size of quarters Now thats just great timing... Now thats just great timing... Now thats just great timing...

I had to have all of my wisdom teeth pulled when I was a teenager - but I had mine out under general anasthetic they were so impacted. I think I was sicker from the anasthetic than from having the teeth pulled.

Good luck with it hun.
