Thought I lost puppy. We were playing toss the stuffed toy. I got up to get my coffee and puppy vanished. I was calling "o puppy, where are you?" Searching hi and low. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him. He was sitting behind the "semi-sheer" curtain watching me. His lil butt and tail was all that could be seen. I pretended to continue looking for him and calling "puppy, where are you"? This went on for several minutes...

I sat on the sofa murming " ooo I've lost my puppy"... Seconds later, puppy darts from the curtain and leaps on my lap only to cover my face with puppy kisses.....Don't think I've laughed so hard in ages.

I get along with puppy about 25% of the time. I've been spraying him so much with water that now he tries to catch it and drink the sprayed water. So I was told to add some vinegar to the water. That works pretty good. He just can't sit on a lap or next to anyone without biting or pulling on pant legs or sleeves or anything he can get a hold of. I give him toys and even cooked him some soup bones to let him chew on. He likes chewing best on "humans".. I did get mad and bit him back..Think it put him in total shock..

He does some funny things tho. Like when I am cooking he goes and sits on the chair by the table waiting for food.. So like the idiot I am , I put a paper plate on the table and his food and he sits there and eats. shrugs shoulders

OO and he likes to stand on his hind legs. Maybe he thinks he is human. So he dances in circles on his hind legs for his treats. Anything to tire him out. He will walk five or six steps on his hind legs too. Is soo funny... But I don't think anything tires him out...

I am trying. I am not sure how things will go. Maybe when he gets "fixed" he will calm down.. Folks are saying that I am getting "*****y" Gee... I wonder why?>?>?

You definitely have your hands full Radio oh boy...LOL

Sounds to me like "puppy" needs to learn that you are alpha dog and he should be showing you some respect!

At least he is keeping you laughing....and that's a good thing. I myself laughed at putting the paperplate and food at the table for him....too funny! Puppy, puppy. Where r u?

Puppy, puppy. Where r u?

I have never had a dog like this one.. And the thing is I have never been an "alpha" in anything in my life. I do believe this is the key tho....Everyone runs over me.. Always has been that way. And this puppy is far from being passive. I said so many bad words it would make a sailor blush. But then "bad words" doesn't solve anything..

You hit on another area "respect".. Geesh, somewhere down the line "respect" for me got lost. Thinking "self-respect" somehow fits in this picture . If I don't have "respect" for myself, nobody, including puppy will... And not exactly sure how to find it again..

Funny tho.. How a lil pup can magnify all that I seem to be "weak" in.. Or throw "my issues" in my face . I am a nurturer. Not a fighter. And this lil pup doesn't want nurturing, He wants to fight.. Yes.. I do have my hands full..
