my daughter came over to pick up her son today. she was going to tell him about the loss of the baby but broke down. I asked if she wanted me to do it and she said yes. I had him on my lap and put my arm around him and told him what happened. I felt so bad for the whole family. mom dad and my grandson. he just leaned over on my shoulder. he was so sad. that is one of the hardest things I have ever done. I know we are not suppose to question God but right now it just hurts and I would like to know why. Lord help us all.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've gone through this myself and know how hard it is. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

rhap thanks hon. I am sorry you know this feeling. I have a question. my daughter called a few minutes ago saying she is having contractions again. like 5 minutes apart. did you have that as well? they did not do the d & c thingy.

One will still have cramp like feelings and pressure off and on for a a few days after a miscarriage - some times they can feel like a contraction....... ((( hugs ))).

that is what I thought too but she sounded so worried. said she feels like something needs to come out. she is also very worried about milk coming in but she was 11 weeks so I don't think that will happen. I hope not for her sake.

Did her doctor check her to see if she passed every thing? - if, yes - she is probably just experiencing the heavier side of cramps that come along with having a miscarriage.

she is still passing some stuff. she said now the contractions have stopped at least for now.

I was getting toxic and my body was not taking care of the problems on it's own, I was 21 weeks along and because of the abortion laws in this state I had to go through a terrible ordeal. They gave me medication to induce labor and I had to be in labor a certain amount of time (I don't remember exactly how long, but it seemed forever) before the doctor could actually go in and take the baby. And to add insult to injury I was housed on the maternity ward.

It's very important that your daughter keep in contact with her doctor, there can be some severe side effects if she doesn't abort natually.

she already miscarried hon. she lost the baby thursday morning but yes she is in contact with the dr. I am so sorry you had to go thru this.
