I was inspired to write this by a post I read earlier, I do not claim to speak for every man here and I would not dare to try so I will speak for myself:

I know that I cannot remotely comprehend the terrible things many of you have experianced in your lives. So I will make the following promises to you all.

I will conduct myself in your presence, with dignity, breeding and good taste. I will always listen to what you say with an open mind, and a receptive heart. I will learn to empathize with what you go through. I promise only to help, never to judge, for I am not qualified to judge. I promise to offer healing where I can, and sympathy where I cannot. I promise to respect you for the inner beauty, wisdom and intellegence, each of you possess. I promise to be a source of strength and comfort for all of you, and above all else I promise to simply listen.

I thank each of you for all that you are, and welcome the contributions each of you make to my understanding of the world arround me.

sincerly

TJ

Oh wow, Timgt5...What an awesome and compassionate post!!! Such caring and genuine words mean so much to me (and I am sure others).

Thank you so much for your kindness, and being open to sharing with us!

Dee

P.S. You married??? (just kidding)

Your Post left ME Crying........ To the Women of PC To the Women of PC

As I truly felt that you cared enough to understand from another person's POV with out having to display hate or judgement.

You are a Good Person and I wish I had the chance in RL to know you as a Man.

i was moved by your heart felt post and I understood your intentions and what you communicating to the male members out there. I am truly sorry for all you suffered in your life, none of which you remotely deserved. My heart and compassion go out to you and the other women here who have been treated badly by those they had been close too. May al of you find sanctuary healing and a better life.

Love and hugs to you all

oh wow...nice brownie points with the ladies there Timgt5!

just kidding

I cant begin to comprehend the pain and suffering many of the women on this forum have suffered at the hands of men...therefore
I try not to reply to many of those threads involving such abuse

I can only offer support and prayers for your continued healing

It's my sincere hope that what Tim pledged would be how all people would treat each other, both on PC and in the real world.

Since joining PC I've always done everything I can to be supportive of the people here, male or female. This is also how I try to conduct myself in real life. Knowing deep down how twisted and damaged I am personally, this helps me heal my own wounds while simultaneously ensuring that others are not collateral damage to the attacks I've suffered through.

It's through mutual understanding and respect that we, as a community, can heal our wounds and the wounds of others. So I second Tim's pledge and extend it to anyone brave enough to join this community and seek help for the terrible pain in their life.

You want to hear a sad thing......the first thing I thought was "what is he trying to get."

Sad. To the Women of PC

I hope you don't take offense, because it is my problem not yours.

It's a shame that your kind words and offerings are not universal.

(((Riptide))) its ok, I understand why you might have been thinking the way you were. I have many female friends here and IRL that have been taken advantage of by men they believed in. Some men out there are liars, and manipulators. My motivation was to only find comon ground and peace with others who participate in these forums and live chat. I simply want to help the healing process for those who suffer from indignations inflicted upon them and set an example for those in pain. Perhaps if we take our moments of weakness and chanel them into positive action we would all be better for doing so. All I ask is that you judge me by my actions, not your preconceptions. In short I will take no offense and will persist on simply being the person I am, warts and all, and let others come to the conclusions they will.

May peace be upon thee this Easter my friend.

God Bless
