I'm giving myself a First Place Cup, too!
 I finally got my eBay store set up! Don't know how many listings I had to delete and revise, got too many pictures of different things for one tiny item, but I connected with a customer service rep this morning that kinda sorta knew what she was doing, and We Did It!!    Now... would ya'll go take a look at it and tell me what you think of the page colors and setup? I chose the tan borders so that the colors of the items would speak for themselves, but I don't think it's doing it.  Then, the featured items at the top are smaller than the regular items.  What's the sense in THAT?Anyway... here's the link. Can't wait to hear back what ya'll think!  Tomi's Ts N Things

It does look nice, super job. BTW, what is blend on the t-shirts? I know I always prefer a 100% cotton shirt.

 Cool Morn ,,, [ remember I a Guy ] >>> Is that needlepoint work of yours on the T's ? It is very Beautiful .Hopefully in the future I will be able to become a customer . <<<<. I would have a special order request ,,,,,, An embroidered or crewel pink ribbon .

No needlepoint. I don't do that well enough to expose it to the sunlight!
What's on the T-shirt with the orange flower is jaquard applique which I painted. The first one I did like that was pink and very lightly highlighted. IMO, that one was better than this one, but like they say... different strokes for different folks. We'll see how this one does.  At the moment, I'm not taking any special orders. Too busy trying to fill inventory with the usual things I plan to sell. Maybe in the future when things slow down a bit... and I get better at crewel?

Candy, what do you think of the border colors?
Trying to get my oldest to create my own logo for me, but I haven't gotten anywhere with him yet.

Thanks, Kalamity! But I'm gonna ask you the same thing I'm asking everybody else. The tan and black borders... are they okay or would a different color be better?

Hey Sept!
Here are my thoughts as someone artistic and as a graphic designer by trade First, AWESOME work at getting this together!! Wow. Its something I too want to do but not having a credit card limits me. Ok, to the site.  1 - I think this would look better if the background was the same color as either the beige in the bar above, or the (dark green i think? or is it black) behind Tomi's Ts and Things. 2- The text here looks pink. Is it? or is that just my monitor? I think I would change it to a basic white, as it will look crisper and more sharp. Those are my only suggestions. Everything else looks fab! Oh, and I can do some logowork - so if you need help I can certainly give it a try. |

Hey! I'll have to play with the colors then!
They give you this huge pallet but so many of the colors are the same or not true from the pallet to the page. Do I have your email address? I have the fonts I want to use but they wouldn't hold in PM. WOW!!! How did you capture the whole page? I can't get my 'puter to do that!

Congrats on getting up and running. I really like the T shirts. But I'm sad because I can't order anything because it says you'll only ship in the US and I'm in Canada.

Rain, all I could change was the color of the font. The store name is now white.

I like the tans. Are you sure you want the "N" to be in caps? It takes away from the Ts, Things imo... :thinking: Wishing you much success with this endeavor ((((Tomi))))
