Hi folks,
Anyone have any good ideas where I may find a reliable roommate. Its so hard to find reliable people it seems. Plus I would prefer a non-drinker, non-smoker (No offense to those who do). My moms health is declining, and now-a-days with everything going up you need extra money to keep a home running. She's fine here at the moment, except for her memory and I believe the doctor will be putting her on Oxygen to help her breathing. Its pertinent though that I start thinking of a room-mate possibly for the future. I've heard many say don't live with relatives, LOL or real close friends cuz if there's a disagreement then you could risk the relationship. I know there is the papers, want adds, etc...but frankly you have to be so careful nowadays. Just a thought for future purposes, any suggestions...? ![]()

Ahh Wmd thanks..church yes i have thought of, college no, when I
say reliable I mean someone I can trust to split expenses, pay rent, etc....(Financially reliable to help out)....... As far as if they suffered from Depression, anxiety, etc...wouldn't matter...I have my own mental health issues to. Thats why I'm asking others here for there suggestions. Its just alcohol I choose not to be around to much temptation, and(again nothing against smokers, its just I am sensitive to 2nd hand smoke)...But I like the Church Idea...I will keep that one in mind.... ![]()

If you could stand it, I would see if you could find someone who needed temporary "aftercare" from being in the hospital, maybe an older person who just couldn't go home alone yet. I don't know how you'd go about finding such a person, maybe a social work agency or just by advertising. That you're talking care of your mother would be a plus for them, I'd think. But with the first person you could see how it goes, knowing it would only be temporary (4-6 weeks) and you could then decide if you wanted to do it again or adjust how you did it, etc.

I went on google and found this website........people often post if they are looking for a room, whether they are quiet, how much they have to spend, if they are a student, you punch in your zipcode and possible roommates will come up...........
