I think pain can sometimes be a symptom of stress or anger. I'm not sure about chest pain specifically. I often get headaches in stressful situations.

Hello (((Hallie))). Chest pains are quite normal when you are in stressful situations that make you anxious or angry. It is caused by adrenal activity and cortisol being released into the system after or during a stressful situation. Please try to find an outlet that is safe for your anger, so that you can feel safer when you are in a stressful situation, and feel that you have dealt with your anger in an appropriate manner. You should also talk to your therapist and Dr aout your situation and issues so that your therapist can help walk you thorugh some of the steps in anger management that are safe and productive. Take care (((Hallie))). PM anytime. Soidhonia
