As of last night, I completed graduate school! I will have a master's degree in clinical and counseling psychology.
Graduation is on May 17th. Then it's on for the doctoral starting in August. What a rough road it has been. Particularly the last year, I saw almost no time in my schooling go by without some part of my illness getting stirred up. I went through two, pretty long depressive episodes-- through them, I kept up with school, and made it through my internship, having to take a little time off because of the depression. I remember during the first of the two episodes, sitting in an 8-hour, Saturday, techniques of counseling class, barely able to see the blackboard as I fought off the tears of depression. There were times when I did not think I ould make it. But I did. I did. |

I know all about going through episodes and feeling like you can't make it, then somehow, lo and behold, pulling through, and you're not even sure how.........it's amazing what our subconcious vs. concious can be apart and yet, the same....
