This isn't really a humorous.. post... though.. I will try to keep it light...

I am truely.... freaked......

I keep running into this same woman... for about 2.5 years now.. at different places..

And today.... it happened again... and whoaaaaa...

Why do we keep running into each other???

This is a very "unforgettable" woman.. she is probably 75-80... long hair.. puffed up... bright makeup... red red llipstick... "outfits".... like...patent leather.. pantsuit... with a big red belt... or "tigerskin" pantsuit... she is tall.. slender....skin tight clothes.. very skin tight..

and.. well my hat is off to her for doing and wearing.. what she likes..

if I lived in a small town... I would say... well... it is bound to happen..

I live in a big city... sooooo

but these... encounters... are in different stores... different times of day... some are clear across town.. an hour or so away...

today... it was half way across town... a grocery store.. I stop at... maybe 2 times a year... I ran in to get some creamer for coffee.. because I didn't want to brave the bigger.. superchain....

and... there... there she was... Yipes..

What is God.. or fate trying to tell me????

really... these are random encounters... another store.. I go to.. maybe 5 times a year... a clothing store... and... yepper.. there she was... shopping....

what are the chances... different places... different times....

and yes.. there is definitely... no mistaking.. it is her...

That's freaky. Maybe you could keep a journal of where/when you see her and see a pattern?

It is probably just a chance encounter.

Scarry thought.....you both have similar tastes... totally completely.. Freaked out... totally completely.. Freaked out... totally completely.. Freaked out...

Use to live down the street from one of these colorful characters. Only thing missing from your description -- long cigarette holder puffing away and Hollywood sunglasses.

Makes you realize there is a God, who else could have such a sense of humor.

It's nothing freaky. It's coincidence. You live in the same area, and notice that she's very unique-looking. You probably run into many people over and over in your geographic location, but notice her more because of her odd complexion. Don't go making illusory connections just yet.

That IS strange. totally completely.. Freaked out... If it were me, I'd smile and say "hello" or give her a friendly nod the next time you see her. If she recognizes you or acts surprised, you can say "We appear to be frequenting the same establishments - feels like we've become friends (or neighbors).

Who knows, maybe she is someone you're supposed to meet. Maybe she has an interesting character. Maybe she'll just think it's weird too. Or maybe, she'll just give you a dirty look and tell you to mind your own business. totally completely.. Freaked out...

I, too, was thinking that maybe you and she are meant to meet. I think it is far too coincidental that you should cross paths so often and so far in distance away.

I agree with KathyM that you should approach her and say Hi.

There was a guy where I used to live that dressed all in pink and had pink hair and a pink bike. So yeah, he was noticeable. I ran into him a lot, all over town. It was a city of nearly 1 million people. He just stood out from the crowd a lot more than others.

You probably run into a lot of the same people all the time, but don't notice them because they 'blend in' a lot more. This woman just stands out to you.

Or....it could be fate....I have no idea!
