I have my first session with my new therapist tomorrow and Im absolutely terrified!
Ive grown to learn that if something upcoming scares the heck outta me, I will put it to the back of my mind and just forget about it.... Its only just clicked that Im seeing him tomorrow...

I dont know what to say!
eeek!

It will be ok, but I know how fearful you are... but what a great self-care effort you are making! Scared!! I'm so proud of you. The T is just as "excited" to meet you the first time too, and wants to be the one who can help you with your needs. I hope this T is the right one for you, and that T puts you at ease and you find everything just nice and easy to talk... and all that stuff you are fearing about. Scared!!

Put it out of your mind, set an alarm or make a reminder and then... distract yourself.

It takes courage to do something like that. I applaud you.

Thankyou Sky and Kaika.

I went for an assessment to see if I actually needed to see someone (lol) and had to talk about things then, I found that once I got started with then everything just started slipping out, it got easier as it went on.

I hate it when people listen to me and they look like they are 'trying to figure me out' lol. Its that look they give. I know its their job like

Yeah, I know what you mean. My parents and T always give me this funny look like they can't understand what I'm saying, it's really annoying! But hey, I had a pretty good session last week so I'm thinking that it's not all that bad. My first two sessions or so I was really anxious, but it's getting better.
