Every so often I get in one of my moods about how old I am and how many years have gone by since the good ol' high school and college days. Is this strange?
Sometimes it hits me that my 20yr reunion is coming up so fast and it seems I was just there. How crazy. Maybe it's because I hate where my life has taken me at the moment and Im concentrating on times that were more enjoyable and stress-free. I don't know. Any of you do the same thing? yeah - I sometimes look back and wish I was back in uni. Not high school it sucked too much on the home front, but in university I still thought everything was possible and really believed in myself. Not quite sure when I lost that. I'm 39 now and really feel like my 30's have been kind of a lost decade - mh issues and alocoholism. But now I'm in recovery and stable on my meds and back working full time, and i'm able to start to see things in a positive light again, so maybe my 40's will be just as awesome as my 20's.

I miss the Good Ol' Days TO AN EXTREME!! the day high school ended I literally cried 12 days straight it was an expereince of being extremely LOST without the gang, the teachers, the activities, the gossip, that SAFE feeling God I miss the safe feeling...I used to survey people, DON'T you think high school could have gone on to at least age 23 DON'T you!! pretty pathetic I know. I was really good at being young, I had it down to an art form.... The Good Ol' Days
