I have no idea where to even put this. I spent 5 minutes trying to figure it out, but I am not feeling smart enough to do that ATM. Please move it if you can figure out where the heck to put it. THX!
I put the Trigger warning because I am really upset and have NO idea if anything I say may trigger anyone, so please be careful. I feel so incredibly stupid! T would be mad if she heard me call myself that, but I just don't care!!! I said something and now I am being made fun of, it's in my face and probably the person doesn't even realize that the little razzing they do is anything bad. It is just that I feel stupid for saying anything at all in the first place!!! #(%&# GRRRRRR *#&$*( OH just forget it! It's stupid anyways! I am just a blubbering idiot who needs to just get over it!!!    The worst part is......I have no idea if I am just having a bipolar moment, if I am just angry or what!!! I just HATE HATE HATE HATE feeling like this!!! Gonna go punch my pillow now! BJ

first thing is you are not stupid, what ever you said may have been misunderstood, and the other person needs to be respectful to you, not making fun of you, you have been sooooooooo very supportive , see not stupid

Thanks nothemama, I am trying to stay calm. I feel better after I hit the pillow.
There wasn't a misunderstanding, I made the mistake of saying how happy I was that a band was getting back together. People started making fun of me calling me a kid and how silly it was of me to think that it could take me back to my teen years. They told me I need to grow up.....but that part of me...can't. I feel so dumb because I can't believe I opened myself up for that one! DUH! I should have just kept my mouth shut. I feel like this should be no big deal, but it is....I HATE when people make fun of me. It makes me so angry. *sigh* I'm done now.

Don't feel stupid for having something to enjoy in life like this! Move on from those who don't understand, maybe they can't find their own simple interests.
Being made fun of isn't fun for anyone really... those who do this are just trying to take the focus away from themselves, imo. It's a shame that some people seem to live for causing others distress, eh?  Now have fun!

You are NOT being silly at all!!!! You have every right to be happy about NKOTB getting back together because they represent something very special to you. Forget everyone else and just go with your heart!!! I know if someone put down my fave band, the original Skid Row, I'd be defending them until I was dead!!! Don't let this negativity bring you down!!! |

Thanks everyone. I will try to just ignore them. I just really want to feel the way I did when I was younger and somewhat happy.
I think I will just be happy inside and forget everyone else's opinions about me!

You're a fan of NKOTB? LMAO! Sorry, j/k. I may not be a fan, but GOOD FOR YOU! Let them tease you. It's not your fault they can't feel the same joy. If they say something insulting, just smile and hum a few bars of your favorite NKOTB song.  My husband teases me all the time about my taste in music, especially the oldies. There are times when he'll come home and catch me listening to some sappy music from the 60s. I just give him a big smile, and he goes into the bathroom to gag until the song is over.
