What has this world come to?

While my family was at our youngest son's graduation on Tuesday night (for two hours) - some would be thieves were out in the parking lot breaking into the cars....... and guess what - My car was one of those that got broken into.

I am so ANGRY - Robbed on Graduation Night - Robbed on Graduation Night - Robbed on Graduation Night -
... just give me five minutes in a room with the people that did this.

Yeah - I was so angry and so was my husband....... and he tends to leave his wallet in the car more than he should and he did that night so we had to go home and cancel his credit cards and bank card..... and now he has to go get another driver licenses and social security card.

And while my husband was upset - he was more upset that all his PICS were gone - as some of them cannot be replaced as the person has since passed on - like his grandparents together and our daughter.

Luckily they only got the radio / cd player, some of my back up medicine (would like to see what happens when they take the hormonal pill - lol) and my husbands wallet with money in it... they ransacked the car, but took nothing else....... I'm glad I took my purse with me as our life is kept in there.

that is so sad, there may be hope though, i had a friend who's car was stolen with his wallet in it and a week later he got a phone call from a store that had found the wallet minus money etc of course in the parking lot. at least he got his pics and stuff back. maybe the wallet with what the thieves considered useless will show up.

Some kids robbed my dad, they broke into his truck and stole money while his truck was in our driveway at night! They went into my car too, but there isn't anything in there to steal.

That's awful - being robbed anytime is bad, but on graduation day just makes it worse. I'm really sorry this happened to you.

Oh that really stinks! Why take the pictures? Is there any chance that the wallet has been found in a nearby dumpster or such? You know the useless to them but priceless to you.

This very same thing happened to me during my brothers graduation in 97. My sister and I got up to take pics of him graduating. We came back to our seats where my whole family was sitting mind you, to find my purse had been stolen while I was taking pictures. It was sitting right next to my husband and they still got it. I was so very upset, but didn't want to ruin my brothers graduation at the same time. So I didn't tell him about what had happened for a few days. It's just shameful.

Shows you how busy we have been since graduation as we failed to notice that our car was damaged as well....... the back bumper was evidently backed into and hard - as you can see the inside of the bumper, torn in three places.......... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - Bad People.
