Well the doctor screwed up and was being assumptive. I don't.

What I do have is Fibro.

I posted this on another site:

As it turns out, my RH factor was actually negative. I don't have Rhuematoid Arthritis after all. I have Fibromyalgia. So I may be a little slow the next few days im on heavy pain meds until the fibro meds have a chance to kick in. So please bear with me if i miss things and such.

On a good note - the doc wrote me a form to get a PCW come in two hours a day to help me with the baby and the housework Thats going to help SO SO much and it means my mother doesnt have to do it which means I dont have to listen to her complain about it.

And. I was able to stop my BP meds today! Since having the baby my pressure has been normal, so I do NOT have essential hypertention like they thought.

And, they changed me from clonazepam to xanax and its making a WORLD of difference with my "attacks" or when i start to get edgy. I can take WAY less and be good for the next few hours where the clonaze was dragging me down literally for days afterward.

So some good, some bad.

Just wanted everyone to know why I havent been here.

Thank you all for being tolerant and being there for me through all of this journey. Its tough, but I am a tough cookie, and I have the most wonderful reason in the world to fight to get healthy!

(((Rainbowzz))))

Sorry about the Fibro, but from what I've heard that's way better than RA. Hope that the meds kick in soon and I'm glad you've found something that works better for you in managing the anxiety.

I'm also really glad that you're getting some help around the house - that's great news.

thanks split. Im in awe that im finally getting recognition that its not "all in my head" and im not just "lazy".. words that have been used to explain what ive felt for years.

And my very own nurse - well I will have the best care and jeremy will too so I am just so thankful. And its all being covered by welfare as I am considered special needs now.

Things are finally looking up for me. I deserve it. Its been a long tough road.

Actually Fibro can be worse when it comes to pain and controlling the pain..... so ((((((( Rainbow))))))).

RA - is worse in the long run as it can and often does reek havoc upon the body, organs and joints.

I sadly have both - RA & Fibro...... with Bursitius. Remember how i said I had RA?

My doctor switched me from Xanax to Clonazapam (spelling?) Could this be what is causing me to be sleepy all the time? I can barely function because all I want todo is sleep. I also have fibromyalgia. I can really sympathize with you. Hope you feel better.

I am glad you got the correct diagnosis, Rainbowzz. Still, sorry you are in pain. It's good you are getting some help.
