Fired today!

I got fired this morning. I am a livein nanny, so that means the I lose my house too. And in this case my car too. I am very scared and unsure. I don't know where I am going to live or how I am going to get a job without an address. I have to tlak to the lady at the agency and see about my alst paycheck. She still owes me for the days I have worked this month. I have 2 options at this point. 1) Go back to Mom. Which is not a good idea because of the history of abuse both from her and her husband. She has changed, he has not. 2) Stay here and hope I can get a job real fast and manage to find a home off the streets to stay. Neither option is one i Like. Oh well. I got to get going I have to be out of this house in a few minutes, so I will get on as soon as I can.

Wow Nichole! That stinks!! Did something happen, or did they just decide they don't need a nanny anymore? Will they be able to give you a good reference for the agency? Sounds like finding a new live-in situation would be a good move for you, if that's possible.

I am still waiting for my ride, so I will write a quick reply. The only explaination given is that it is just not working out. She didn't even tell me she had someone else tell me. I talked to the agency and they won't find you a job after you have been fired no matter the reason. So I will have to go another agency. I have a little bit of time though, because I am going to stay with a friend for a week, so that helps.

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been fired. I know how hard a blow that can be. I hope you will rapidly get settled into a new arrangement somewhere. You seem to have been exploring a lot of new ground about yourself lately and the stress must have been great. I hope you will be forgiving of yourself and take care of the wonderful you I've started to get to know. - thinking of ya-Down

Rats, Nicole! That stinks! I'm really sorry to hear it. Glad that you have a friend to stay with for a week though. That must help a little. I hope you find a new job and place to live very soon!

It really sucks. But don't worry if they don't give you a good report. They seem so little to promise you a job and then fire you without notice. I hope it happens to them pretty soon so they understand what it means.

At least the bustards should give you a nice excuse. Not like "THings don't work out" and all these ********s.

Just forget them. Let them behind you. THey are too little. Try to sort your life out. This is the best kind of revenge you can ever take.

Thanks everyone. I am doing better today. I hate looking for new jobs, especially when you need them fast. Oh well, back to job hunting.
