I'm curious about how long you e.mailed? We met almost three years ago. Phone calls are often. Written letters fly back and forth. And that's why we're going to Mexico.....if he doesn't get sent to Oman in one of Dow's overnight commands. Dow seems to be like the army in that they sent a fed-ex to your door and you report to the airport the next day. That's what happened when he went from Malaysia to China.
I do like Rick...and I think we can be very good "music" pals. I forgot to tell you that he smokes and that was a big suprise. I had never seen him smoke before. And he smokes ALOT. I don't smoke at all and I have a problem with it.
Anyway.....I'm content with a long distance "deal" for awhile. I still have my one year of schooling to finish. And he's totally supportive of that. Bill is. I've met several men that were totally against that. They want you at their beck and call. I'm too independent to be anyone's puppy. And I forgot to tell you that he's going to have someone build me a darkroom!!!!!!!!! He thinks that I need one soon. And I do.....I was married to a man that discussed his work and his hobby with me.......never what I was doing.......I was a cheerleader. I learned a lot from that little episode.

I have met some incredible people online. I never thought it was possible to meet a true friend online. That was until I met Al. We made a connection that I will never be able to put into words. He passed away last June. Every day I tell myself that I must call his wife. I promised her that I would keep in touch. She too knew of the connection. Damn I wish I could hug her right now.

How touching, Emwell.......thank you for sharing that with us. I have internet friends that I exchange Christmas gifts with...phone calls, etc. AND you know what? Now that I've "taken myself out of circulation", they're everywhere. A man just called to ask me to dinner tonight....and he's cute as can be.....and younger!. What causes this? Maybe Miss Ems will tell us what's going on!! Or Shar! Or the Zenhussy.......

Sorry darlin but I am too young myself to even think of younger except as disposable toys. My heart is with one on the other end of the age thing. I'd rather be with someone who has figured out who they are and still have a "messy life" than be with someone outwardly together who hasn't a clue as to who they are.
