wow what an afternoon! I went out on the front porch to see what I could see....I grabbed my camera on the way out. took some pretty cool pics but will have to upload them when hubby gets home. awesome clouds.

as many know here we are in a really bad drought. some areas here have gotten 10 + inches of rain yesterday and today. our lake so far has risen 7 inches and rising! woo hoo! I know we need it but in 1 day? lol anyway more bad weather to come.

I'm in GA too - crazy weather today!

But i was out with my youngest son this afternoon (he just turned 6) and we saw a HUGE, bright rainbow. He said "it's like a cartoon rainbow!!" - a perfect arch going all the way across the sky. So cool!!

I was at T yesterday during a tornado watch. I asked him what we would do if the sirens went off and he said "we'll stay right here, where we'll be safe". sigh.

Oh ((((((((((((((( be ))))))))))))))))

Ya'll are in my prayers for a safe night hon. What a lot of rain to get in a day...the problem with that much rain is the runoff....the ground can't soak it all in.... tornadoes Not that it won't do any good....it's just a double edged sword.

Be safe my friend.....keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers! And of course anyone else who lives in the line of those storms!

I was wayyyyyyy off on the amount of rain we got today. we were in the 3 to 6 inch area! just north of here they have 10 to 12 inches! talk about making up the deficit!
