Probably fairly accurate, though I would say they switched "narcissistic" and "histrionic" around. I probably have some mild to moderate histrionic traits (e.g., tendencies toward the melodramatic at times, etc.) but i'm a lot more narcissistic than i am histrionic so if either of those should have been "high", in my opinion it should have been narc. rather than hist.

I can't resist a quiz or test, even when I've taken it lots of times before. Dependent and Avoidant are the ones that I have actually been diagnosed with.

I took the test at work, don't remember, many were low but histronic was moderate which I think is funny because I have lived with a poker face and concealing feelings my whole life. Oh yeah, scitzotypal was moderate and when I read the explanation it didn't make sense. Avoidant was moderate, DUH, I would say severe! Rest were low. okay, so I do remember. Kimmy and Silver, I LOVE yorkies, and any other kind of terrier. My babies got to go to work with me all day. (terrier-poodle) So very dear. Now, instead of playing and getting frisked out they are sleeping on my bed. They have been on my lap most of the day. Sweet children. So, am I betraying them by wishing for another puppy? If they did not cost money I would go find an 8 week old puppy as there is such joy in raising babies.

Here's mine:

Paranoid: Low
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: Moderate
Antisocial: Low
Borderline: Moderate
Histrionic: High
Narcissistic: Moderate
Avoidant: High
Dependent: Very High
Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate

I have been diagnosed with dependent personality disorder, so the results fit with that. The funny thing about this one is, when I took this test a couple of years ago, I came out low for narcissistic...I think the reason it's higher is because I've been working so hard on self-esteem, and some of the questions related directly to the self-esteem exercises that I do.

I have PTSD and thus highly vigilant, and also concerned about how I'm "fitting in" because of my disorder. All in all, I did fine! But then, I already knew I don't have a personality disorder LOL

Actually, so are most of you all. I feel like you could call me just about every name in the book based on my results. Personality test I expected everyone to be a little closer to mine. It's a little discouraging

I think I took the wrong test. It told me this:

Raynaadi, you're a Secret Agent!

You're a smart, shrewd loner. Chances are although you prefer solitude; you're a deeply caring person full of energy and ideas. On a personal level, you're sensitive. You may worry too much about how you compare to others, and your mood suffers under such intense personal scrutiny.

You like to eat lunch at your desk. You also have a critical eye that assures your final product is always top rate.

And that's just scratching the surface!

Then it wanted a credit card for further results.

so much depends on how the individual INTERPRETS the question too ... how do they know we are interpreting it in the same sense in which it was intended? of course they cannot know ... and some of those things are ambiguous as to whether they are interior or exterior in nature. they could be looking for something more "exterior" (manifest before others' perceptions through their physical senses) to fit a criterion and you could be interpreting the question in a completely "interior" (unmanifest outwardly yet unmistakably present to oneself) sense. OR vice versa. i have trouble with those kinds of tests because i can't ever figure out if they want me to answer according to interior or exterior -- for me the two don't always match and because i am a cognitive dissident, my perceptions will not be those of others at any rate.

Angela, keep in mind that this is just a test for personality disorders, and not everyone here has to struggle with that. But also, the symptoms of different personality disorders overlap quite a bit, so if you have one personality disorder, there's a good chance that you will show up as at least Moderate for several more.

Besides, the only name anyone here is going to call you is Angela. Or maybe sweetie, now and then. Personality test
