I was able to get up at a decent hour instead of sleeping the day away. I went out to mom and dad's and was able to be in the same room as dad and not get into an arguement. We actually had a conversation. Of course it was surface but it was still a conversation. I went to Walmart and got the things I needed.

I was able to go to therapy and found out they made new needles to make it that I don't have to get my shots in my butt all the time anymore I'm able to get them in my arm now.

I weigh at my T's office and found out I have beat the 250's. I now weigh 249.6 and am almost to my personal goal of 242. When I reach that goal it means I will have lost 200lbs.

I even had enough money leftover from my groceries to be able to go South of the border and get a taco from Taco Bell. I have been craving Taco Bell all week and have been telling myself to wait and was able to treat myself today.

So today was a good day.

Jan

How awesome on the weight loss!! I need to lose around 50 pounds, and hearing that others can do it makes me think maybe I can too. I'm glad you had a good day overall. The treats are so much better when you KNOW you deserve it!

This is a very cool thread because:
1.It has an encouraging title and thus made a positive effect on me.
2.You got up at the decent hour and thats what i ask myself to do everyday.
3.You make steady progress to weight-loss which really takes a determination.
4.You are all grateful for those.

thanks for the nice thread.

Today was another decent day.

Saturdays are usually stressful days for me because they are usually spent with my parents but they went out of town and though they asked me to go along I said no I'd rather stay home.

I again got up at a decent hour because I needed to take care of a matter with my prepaid credit card and though the banking center that I needed to call was closed I got it taken care of at the store that made the mistake. I was able to go to a thrift store to buy my wallet and saved some money that way.

I came home and took a long nap with Tyger and got up and just lounged on the couch all day watching mindless T.V.

My kind of day.
