The vet is concerned based on type of cancer and odds that it is back. I'll have to wait until Saturday for test results from blood draw. Won't know until tomorrow midday maybe.

Swing by favourite big box chain for rx....lol.......no swinging is ever involved in a trip there. Hour later leave big box with rx.

Come home. Carrying things in. Go to get mail. "We appreciate you as tenants and would like to give you 60 day minimum notice."

well the law in this area says they must give 60 day notice so this smarmy bs already has me worried. Interested party who would like to keep status quo of renters on property. Yeah.......I've heard that before.

When it rains it pours. California likes to do it all at once I guess both with the weather and my life. No news on dog and rental up for sale...

An address change is just what I need in the middle of this application process!! No news on dog and rental up for sale... and moving with a large dog in this county is damn near impossible No news on dog and rental up for sale...

Thank you silver, ozzie, fuzzette, and gardnergirl for good thoughts and hugs.

I'm glad that I'm not sinking immediately from such news as I have in the past when life tossed me a bunch of curveballs. Must mean the meds have me 'stable' to a point. This much is good.

Housemate arrived home more worried about dog and rather whatever to the possible/probable move. Said he wants to stay in county with me and dog and find new place somehow.

Been here before in much more dire circumstances.

There are veterinary oncologists in town to choose from if need be for further treatment for pooch. Housemate is now glad to have done well in Vegas this last trip. Can contribute to dog upkeep. Today was a Ben just for a blood test and the visit.

Housemate looks great on paper for rentals financially and I have the great local refs so hopefully that will translate to something opening up in the next two months that will serve the three of us well (dog, housemate and myself........the pack).

Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. No news on dog and rental up for sale...

breathing in........breathing out..........still haven't called therapist and won't until tomorrow when I know test results. No sense in freaking more tonight when I know little.

After almost six years in a place I'm not keen on an open house with only a week's notice. I think me and Ms. realtor need to have a chat tomorrow about just what her plans are for this property and how she can work around my schedule.

Sometimes in life lessons are repeated until learned. No news on dog and rental up for sale...

Is this current set of circumstances telling me to stop renting and start yurt living? No news on dog and rental up for sale...

or was Brezsny right with this? Horoscopes for week of January 13, 2005 </font><blockquote><div id="quote"><font class="small">Quote:</font>
Three times recently I've been driving home after 11 p.m. when I've spied a strange scene unfolding at a neighborhood house. The couple that lives there has been sitting around a festively decorated table in the front yard. A group of maybe eight to ten other people has been with them, and they've all been drinking from champagne glasses, making boisterous toasts, laughing heartily, and singing loud songs. I've been tempted to crash their little parties; it's exhilarating to see such late-night outdoor merriment in drizzly 30-degree weather during the bleak post-holiday season. I propose that you make these weirdoes your role models in the coming week, Pisces. Let them inspire you to be lavishly celebratory, convivial, and cheerful, even in seemingly inhospitable circumstances.© 1995-2004, Rob Brezsny. All rights reserved.

I'm sorry for your woes ....moving SUCKS, and you know how I feel about woofs. And I wanted thank you for the horoscope site. My best friend's mom died this week, so I looked up his. </font><blockquote><div id="quote"><font class="small">Quote:</font>
Every year the people of Dhami in India celebrate Sati Pradha Mela, a raucous stone-throwing festival. I won't go into the specifics of what they do, because I merely want you to steal the basic idea. Why? Because according to my reading of the astrological omens, it is now a perfect time for you to unleash your pent-up aggressions in a flagrant yet harmless ritual. You can of course do this any way you see fit, but here's my suggestion: Wander out into a wild place and hurl about 20 big rocks in the direction of heaven.

But don't you think those rocks will fall back and hit him on the noggin'??? No news on dog and rental up for sale...

prelim. tests came back negative!! Whew!! Total relief there. Vet will consult with oncologist next week as to how to keep eye on this for future. We'll have to hunt down reason for other issue but as long as it isn't malignant then we're okay.

58 days from Sunday to move. It'll happen whether or not I actively participate. Started looking at what's out there today. Not as impacted as it once was a few years back last time I was moving.

I think I'll go pass out from relief and come to tomorrow to begin shedding this house's accumulated stuff. That will be cosmically relieving to get rid of so much!!

Emsky? Can I throw the rocks up over the head of my slumlord? There are coyotes and deer and bobcats in the area.....is that wild enough? or is that aggravated assault? No news on dog and rental up for sale... I do like the idea though..... heh heh heh.

Ms. Realtor and I have already had a 'nice' chat. :: rolls eyes:: This will be such a fun time asserting my legal rights as a tenant of a property on the market. Goddess bless Nolo Press!!

My golly it has been a wild month of housing No news on dog and rental up for sale... around here. Realtors and the usual cast of slumlords coming through to see if they wanted to add this rathole to their fiefdoms, assessors, inspectors, workpeople to do various repairs, etc. A zoo! A fricking circus of phone calls, people showing up, people looking in our windows!! the whole gamut of people behaving poorly.

Seems the fella who has purchased this property (won't call him slumlord yet as his behaviour has yet to be seen) wants to continue on with renting to all of us (two houses and three people on this property). Usually when a place like this gets sold the new owner kicks out the tenants and does the necessary repairs and upgrades (for this place consider a firebomb) so they can increase the rent to make mortgage payments on their investment. I spent the better half of the late 90's moving due to my rental being sold and the new owners deciding to move into the front house or move their kids into the back unit or what have you. Guess I'm a bit jaded and cynical. I know it is more than a bit..........I'm downright curmudgeonly.

My housemate and I spoke with the owner this morning and he bounced some ideas off us and we let him know how we felt. I said if six years of on time rent isn't good enough for a month to month lease instead of a yearly locked in lease then I guess we will be looking for other digs. He said that is enough for him and he'll gladly do a monthly lease with us. Housemate and I are pleased with today's convo with new owner. We'll see when escrow closes I guess..... No news on dog and rental up for sale...

I really didn't believe that a new buyer would keep the tenants. Oh me of little faith!

as long as youve got a back up plan... start lookng for other places just in case? my landord has been great... raised my rent once but i didnt mind cuz he is a great guy and had to recoup some funds from a flood we had from a busted pipe...
but i hope your situation turns out well, cuz moving adds significantly to any stress you may already have just from life.

No news on dog and rental up for sale... Just how does one 'dress cats up like books?' I'm picturing a hollowed out book (like people used to carry a bottle of alcohol in) with kitty stuffed inside, tail dangling out one end like a bookmark!

Paid money and everything. Tis official. I iz stayin' put in this rathole at a new higher rate! No news on dog and rental up for sale... Lucky ME!!

I am greatly appreciative of the good vibes and luck wished this way during this prolonged process of No news on dog and rental up for sale... the tenants, I mean transfering ownership and new leases and such.

For me stable housing is key to being able to do the work I do. I went through a period of having to move so frequently I never bothered unpacking some boxes of stuff as I never felt safe or stable. Guess I can go unpack that old ***** and throw it out now! lol

In pics there is a shot of my girlie on the mend from her surgery and a play injury (the purple foreleg wrap) She's a big girlie and plays hard even after major surgery. No news on dog and rental up for sale... what can I do but love her and sell everything I own to pay for her care?! Fingers crossed on her continued health. Every day with her is a gift. She is by far the BEST thing to have come of six years with the ex. No news on dog and rental up for sale...
