Okay, now that I've got you here. I'm a huge movie buff, I love movies more than anything, but I'm running out of movies to see. So, I'm on the prowl for ideas. What I want to know from as many people as possible is:

What is your most favorite movie of all time? And why? give me an idea of what it's about, maybe who's in it and how long ago it came out.

Thanks. TgrsPurr.

I'm definitely the wrong person to ask cuz I hardly see any movies these days.

My fave movie of all time is Sleepless in Seattle with Meg Ryan (my fave actress) and Tom Hanks. Classic love story with happy ending. The one I wish I had. I want to hear from YOU! Yeah, YOU!

You Got Mail - see above for actors and description. I want to hear from YOU! Yeah, YOU!

When Harry Met Sally - Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal - different kind of love story..... do we see a trend here....oh, and who can forget that orgasmic scene in the restaurant!!! I want to hear from YOU! Yeah, YOU!

Ok, so you've seen all those and I'm no where near up to date with movies and that orgasmic scene....in my dreams!!! I want to hear from YOU! Yeah, YOU!

Although, the most current movie I saw was Collateral. Tom Cruise, Jamie Fox. Hitman hires cabbie for night while he makes 5 stops to ... (don't want to trigger anybody). Great movie IMHO and if you don't like it.....eye candy.....very important in movies just in case the movie tanks!!! I want to hear from YOU! Yeah, YOU!

I personally like movies with SEX in them though. I want to hear from YOU! Yeah, YOU! <adjusting halo> What can I say, if you can't get the real thing.... I want to hear from YOU! Yeah, YOU!

OK, moving on from my one track mind..... I want to hear from YOU! Yeah, YOU! Now can anybody help me find my halo???

I love too many movies to pick just one. Do you want movies to rent or movies to go see? I want to hear from YOU! Yeah, YOU!

What kind of movies do you like? lol PM me, I could talk movies all day. I like everything but horror. Ewwww nothing scary for me. Action would be my next least fav. I'm big on chick flicks though. lol

Oh, and AngelGirl...here ya go I want to hear from YOU! Yeah, YOU!

All good answers AG! Seen 'em all. I liked Collateral, but I thought the ending stunk! I'm not gonna give it away for everybody else, but I just feel Michael Mann (director) dropped the ball on that one.

Oh, and I like movies with sex too, but never ever porn! That's just wrong IMHO.

Did you see Meg Ryan's "In the Cut"?

Both. Movies in the theater, movies to rent, movies to buy, movies to track down because they're so rare they're hard to find. Yeah, I know, I'm a movie junkie.

I love all movies, but I'm not so big on the scary ones either, just because I think most of them are stupid....sex, blood and gore...where's the talent in that? But I do love, love, love action flix.

Thanks for finding my halo 1day but not sure how long I'll actually be able to keep it. It's very hard for me to keep my mind away from that which makes me lose my halo. I want to hear from YOU! Yeah, YOU!

tgrspurr - no, I haven't seen that one but would love to. Is it good? I know it's a different kind of role for Meg, right? But it does have the SEX so that's always good. I want to hear from YOU! Yeah, YOU!

Dang, that halo just keeps slipping. I want to hear from YOU! Yeah, YOU!

I really like Butterfly Effect, very trippy. Beautiful Mind....incredibly moving story. Eternal Sunshine....one of Jim Carrey's best, but funny how the bizaar character he plays is the most "normal" he's ever done, right? Loved Troy, but haven't seen Cold Mountain, yet.

AG, I didn't like it. At least not for Meg Ryan. Maybe if it had been someone else I would've been more receptive. Lots of sex scenes, but it got kinda creepy in my opinion.

It's really a pretty messed up movie and if you're that big a fan of Meg's other movies, I don't think you'll appreciate her in this kind of movie. I didn't.

I've heard that about this movie. I heard that it didn't do that great because Meg fans just couldn't accept her in this kind of roll. We're used to the 'girl next door' Meg.

Ever see "Man Facing Southeast?" One of my all time favorites, and as i type it occurs to me how setting appropriate it might be. It's an Argentine film, so subtitles. A man is found with no identification etc, and due only to silence ends up in an institution where a christ like influence emmanating from him dramatically effects the patients around him. Truly one of the most memorable films I ever saw. It is one of only a few that ever made me cry and laugh at the same time, my favorite movie induced emotion.

Thanx Sqrl, never even heard of it, but sounds like my kinda movie. I don't mind subtitles. Will I find it at Blockbuster or is that a specialty thing?

I enjoy animated movies too. You got me again with "emperors new groove", is it new?

Both Shreks are at the top of my animated movie list. I really like Sharks Tale, The Lion King, Pocahontas. Too many to list, but they've really come a long with animation. Great stuff.
