Anyone here try them? I've considered them years ago but never got around to get them. Now I remebered about them and thought I'd ask here! :P

So I'd love to hear any personal experiences with Bach flowers

I Posted about it some time ago

they seem to work for me in taking the edge off. I use the customized version (you pick several remedies based on your symptoms and mix them and take four drops four times a day).

Yes, I've used "Rescue Remedy" for me, friends, & pets for over 20 yrs AWA other formulas. Ones I can get in non-alcoholic base. What do you want to know?

VenusHalley: thank you, I must have missed that!

Roadie: Well I guess I just wanted to know if they really help and to what extent. Where I live everything alternative is considered to work as long as you think it works so people aren't big on this kind of things and I don't know anybody who has tried them. I have social anxiety and I read that there are some flowers that can help you become more outgoing and I was considering getting those.

Well, the Rescue Remedy (universal essence) works pretty well for anxiety. It's even considered popular with pet owners who use it on their doggies and kitties for exhibitions. I tried it on stray cat i was taking care for over New Year's and it was worked quite well, he calmed down and slept through most of it (and he has been trying to escape at first, before I gave him the rescue remedy).

Rescue Remedy helps people (& yes, animals) relax. Socially, it works for some. As a sleep aid it works for more. I have one friend, who is so sensitive she can't take traditional meds, who will sleep for 24 hrs on a drop of this stuff.

I will say that if you have any allergies triggered by pollen, avoid those essences. The Rescue Formula for animals is in a non-alcohol base, since most animals don't consider alcohol edible.

Rescue Remedy got me through a natural childbirth. It's all I took.

Sounds really promising, thanks everyone

I took the test and bought 5 remedies, so all I have to do now is wait How long does it usually take before one starts noticing the effects?

Improved sleep I saw immediately. It was probably the second week before I noticed that I was really much less stressed in social situations. It was at a local writers group, and I actually was able to role-play myself into talking with people before and after the meeting.

Let us know how it goes.
